Tools run on your device

Calculators, PDF tools, image tools, QR codes, passwords, and the live speedometer are processed in your browser. Those files, inputs, and GPS coordinates are not uploaded to our servers and are not stored by us. The internet speed test is the exception: it measures against Cloudflare, as described below.

Currency rates

The currency converter asks your browser to load exchange rates from open.er-api.com. That service can see your IP address. We do not receive the amount you convert.

Internet speed test

When you start the speed test, your browser downloads and uploads test data to speed.cloudflare.com. Cloudflare can see your IP address and the quality of that connection. We do not receive or store your speed results.

Live speedometer

When you start the GPS speedometer, your browser asks this device for location so it can compute speed. Coordinates stay on the device and are not sent to us. The operating system or a platform location service may still process GPS for that permission.

Third-party services

Two processors can handle data in connection with this site. open.er-api.com supplies exchange rates when you open the currency converter. Your browser contacts that service directly, so it can see your IP address. We do not receive the amount you convert. Google AdSense may serve ads. The AdSense script loads on every page. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google Consent Mode starts as denied, so advertising cookies stay off until you accept. Google then decides whether to show personalized ads, non-personalized ads, or no ads. In other countries ads can run without that banner. When ads are on, Google processes advertising data as an independent processor.

Cookies and consent

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google Consent Mode starts as denied for ad storage, analytics storage, ad user data, and ad personalization. Advertising cookies stay off until you choose Accept. Reject is as easy as Accept, and the tools keep working either way. A necessary cookie remembers that choice. The AdSense script still loads; Google uses those signals to decide what ads, if any, to show. Outside those places, ads can run without this banner. A separate necessary cookie records only whether the visit needs that choice. It does not store a precise location.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you can ask for access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold, and you can complain to your supervisory authority. Because most tools never send us your inputs, there is often nothing stored to delete beyond the consent cookies, which you can clear in your browser.
